The forgotten Path.

The darkness, slowly swarming me from all sides as I look down the long hallway that I call life. My eyes becoming slightly hazed from everything it has seen. What once was a bright glowing man living his life is now a battered dull man waiting for his past to catch up to him. The light that once lit his flames slowly dwindling out as he continues to stare down the hallway, the darkness getting closer to him as he just stands there. Glancing down at his feet as the darkness slowly engulfs them, to never be seen again. His gaze returning forward once more as his mind starts to slowly wander. The thoughts of how he ended up in such a place as this as the darkness starts to flood the hallway more as if trying to take the pain known as living away from him. His mind just wandering as his sight becomes more hazed, the hallway just becoming pure darkness. Not being able to tell if he has his eyes closed or not, just understanding this is the end as he feels the chill of metal slide across his skin. And it all ends. In one fleeting moment. ~Thoughts of a Shadow

interesting fact I think, they say light destroys darkness but really, light plus darkness (plus mass) gives birth to a shadow, not light.

Haha yeah =D. Also that darkness is always there, light just pushes it away, or just makes it not visible to the human eye. But it's always around.
