A boys fear

Life is it a statement of humanity to be alive and fear death. Is death something that makes us who we are? Would we become more dependent and less in the action if we had forever to do so. I ponder these things but can never get to a answer.What if life was the only thing we had we would not fear anything right? The timeline 1890 Humanity has slowly started working more on bigger citys and has surmounted more effort to do so. 1939 The start of world war II begin. Germany had begun horrible experiments on prisoners and jews alike. 1943 United States had begun to push back germany but suffered the loss of their president Franklin D Roosevelt. A new president was able to rise up past Roosevelt. Rickson Elano who had firm beliefs in making united states strong no matter what. 1944 Hitler and Germany were soon overran by the combined forces of the allied nations with United States. They lost shortly after and United States recovered most of the research from hitlers main bases. 1946 Rickson Drafted surviving scientist from any of hitlers research along with top scientist in the United States to form a research team that was handling a certain lab project that Germany had been researching. 1948 Rickson and his team of reseachers had found out and uncovered everything from the research gathered and made it public that the United States had found a possible means to ensuring humanity does not die. 1952 A private company who had no bearing in the United States begun test on human subjects to see if they could make people immortal. This private company was later found out under the control of rickson and his research team. 1956 The first successful person to reach a state of immortality had happened. However wide spread usage was still being tested. 1961 United States had formed most countries under its flag with the prospect of having immortality and being united as humanity under Ricksons Command. 1964 With countries being more united there begin a long and constant construction of expanding human settlements in lesser populated areas. 1971 The first widespread and applicable usage to grant humans immortality was distributed. Via using certain chemicals that would stay in the body a person could prevent aging and recreate any part of there body they lost at a incredible rate of speed. 1976 Humanity had been fully united and Rickson was kept as the leader. Humanity began other technological pursuits at a much faster efficiency. 1977 Certain Religions started forming a group against the usage of the product. This eventually led to a rebel group trying to stop the immortality of humanity. They almost made a full working counter product that would go against the immortality humans have. 1979 The rebel group was defeated and Rickson decided to look for other ways to advance humanity. 2023 Everything had become much more easier for humanity their lives had been fully pleasured with all kinds of tech. Rickson had begun working on a private project again. To you , right now you are 10 years old you have currently been in the city of Tropio. A giant mega city that rest on the northeast border of China. The city has made you feel at peace and you are glad to be apart of the giant city. This is where the story begins for you. I will be adding more as I go but this is the beginning of the story.

I..I what is this place, You cant undo what is the reality. UHHHgh a boy ten years old opens his eyes with brown hair that is in a short style but has a spiky area right on the left corner. His name is Ren, "What was that dream I had" the boy says droopy. Hopping out of his bed he looks out the window at the giant metropolis that is his home city. "Tropio always as active as usual heh" For most people the city is a wonder since it is one of the 27 major giant metropolises built around the world thanks to humanities advancement. The city itself is surrounded by three different zones which cover easily 5 times the size of new york city in each. There are multiple sky scrapers everywhere in each zone. At the heart of the city lies the Iris zone which holds a big tower in which most companies are connected to its working via underground networks. The tower itself is 900 meters tall and covers a vast area on each floor. The surrounding outskirts of the city host well kept parks with multiple forms of species in each that are contained properly. In the northeast area there lies a lake which host several underwater attractions. His city is quite the master piece but still nothing compared to some of the other metropolises like Aexea. Its size dwarfs this city by many times over. Still he has enjoyed the city to its fullest. Having a family who has a decent amount of pay helps out. He has received a very good amount of learning thanks to that. Although he tends to be more free about things much rather looking at how things are rather then changing them. "Well looks like it is time for breakfast" he says somewhat awake. He makes his way to the kitchen to see his mother Teria making some bacon and eggs along with adding her own little spices to the mixture. "Hi mom I hope you got enough sleep " His mother turns around and looks at him "well of course I did afterall your father was able to take care of the rest of the things since I was tired" She smiles "here is your breakfast dig in since you have to be in school in two hours." " Ok dont worry I will catch the bus to there" He eats up and his father Sameul enters the room. "Hows my little boy doing eh" Smiling" I hope you got plenty of rest afterall this is the start of your new school year" He finishes his plate "I am doing fine dad dont worry you know that I always do good in school" He smiles his mom coming over to hug him says " Remember all we want you to do is try you dont have to excel if that is too much for you" She hugs him tight. Samuel then steps in and gives him a hug too "I am sure you know where to go as you always do just head right to the stop a few houses down and take the bus towards your school as always" Ren then nods his head "yeah yeah I know dont worry" He goes upstairs to get his stuff packed and change into clothes then says bye to his parents and walks out. The neighborhood is fairly nice since they are closer to the center of the city as he sees kids running around playing their mobile game systems. He soon reaches the bus stop and gets on with the other kids. Not much of a peoples person he goes to the middle of the bus to find a empty seat away from others. Then puts on his headphones and listens to some classical music combined with pop. Thinking to himself man this city is always so active I really wonder what was here before all of this? He looks at the outside area off in the distance and sees a few birds flying here and there. The things I looked at that showed the planet in the past had so many more animals now it all feels controlled and animals are usually tamed for humans. He then snaps out of his thoughts and sees the bus has arrived at the location The Feren School A very big one compared to most schools he walks out towards the door and opens it. End part 1 of ch 1

Each floor contains 21 rooms along with extra areas that you can got too. He heads towards the first class. "This place is full of people as usual" he says he quickly makes his way onto the third floor where his first class is located. Eventually reaching the room he enters. Thinking "I hope this class is not too full I prefer more smaller classes". He is greeted with a small amount which is surprising however the teacher is less then friendly and quickly points to his desk. The kids are all talking to each other and he overhears some of it mostly about the teacher and anybody the latest news or cartoon. The teacher stands up and taps his hand on the board. "Attention , may I have your attention you can call me Mr. Caplon today you all will be in my class and I will say this from the beginning I expect each of you to perform to the best of your abilities and more. If I see you not doing what you are told to do I will not go easy on you. I expect you to be your best. Is that understood" the teacher says loud. He was a older male had short hair and seemed to be eyeing him for whatever reason. The teacher already seemed to dislike him so this would be fun. "One of the children laughed in the background and he walked over to them, "laughing about something are we"? He then says well you will have a extra 30 minutes to ponder why after this." He walks back still keeping his eye on him. Now for today class I want you to read chapter 1 of the book you brought in. "I expect all of you to be tested on that chapter tomorrow and have knowledge of the subject" he says. So the reading began however the teacher kept looking at him. Then as the minutes went on he decided to walk over to ren. I would like to see you after class due to a few issues he said. Then simply walked over back into his chair and monitored everybody else. Soon class finally ended and everybody was getting up to leave besides ren and the boy from earlier. What is your name he asked the boy "uhhhm... stan " he said nervously. "Well stan you will be going to the detention room after all the classes are over on the first floor room 21 understand" "Yes..sir" With that the boy left and it was just him and the teacher. For a moment there was silence but the teacher broke that rather quickly. "Ren is it, I noticed that you looked like you were day dreaming when you were assigned to reading chapter 1 of the book you brought in." Ren "thinking to himself must be my face and the way I look everybody thinks I am not paying attention to them when I am" he thought somewhat annoyed. " I was not day dreaming I read that chapter do not accuse me of something that you are not sure on" said ren. The teacher tapped his fingers for a moment "Very well but if I see that you do poorly on the test tomorrow then that will be all I need afterall the scores you have on previous years are very high I will be able to tell if you slack." He said somewhat cold. Ren having enough of him made his way out and started going to his other classes. In total he had 4 the classes here crossed multiple areas in each. Each one lasted 2 hours although he was glad to be out of the first. All the rest of the classes were easy and much more relaxed. He soon had finally got out of school and decided on going over by the scenic area next to the school. It was close to a water source so he decided to set on the ledge next to it and peer into his reflection over the waters surface. "Well today was eventful my first teacher will be a pain I can see that. Still its good to finally be back sometimes I wish I could just flow into friends and forget about other things though but thats part of who I am. He let out a deep breath and got off the ledge then put on his headphones heading towards the bus. Getting on he found a seat and sit down. The trip was rather long back thanks to the heavier traffic but soon he managed to get off at his stop. Then he walked over towards his house and was greeted by his dad at the front door. Immediately asking him "So how was school son" Thinking to himself it would be more of a problem to tell about the teacher he left it out"School was great again and the classes went by well" He smiled and then inside his mom Teria gave him a hug. After that since he did not have homework on the first day he decided to unpack and watch some cartoons Eventually it was dinnertime he talked over with his parents a little bit and got ready for bed. After struggling a bit to go to sleep he finally passed out and his mom tucked him in with his father smiling as they turned off the light for him. Dreaming, he felt a empty sensation in him and rain was pouring over the sky and then lightning struck in front of him followed by a empty pit of nothing. He jolted up having a nightmare again, feeling exhausted from that " that dream was pretty scary hopefully this night will be better it only started a few days ago so we will see he said somewhat relaxed now." He looked at the clock and it was 7 in the morning so he would need to be getting up soon at 8. He shut his eyes slowly and tried to rest some more. End pt 2 ch1

Then he got his clothes on and went down stairs. His mom had left him breakfast on the counter since she had to go to work early that day. While his dad was working on the yard outside and a few other things before he left. After eating up he started heading out. As he walked over to the bus stop he noticed that it was quite windy today more so then usual but he was just thinking too much as usual in regards to things around him. He got on the bus and found a empty seat again putting on his headphones he looked out and saw the birds flying over the trees and arches over the highways. As they made there way through he almost fell asleep due to waking up early but was jolted out of his half sleep state by the bus stopping at the destination. He finally made it off and went into the school. Nearing his favorite teachers room he walked with a bit of regret. Thinking to himself I just hope he does not get on to me for something I did not do again. He opened the door to the classroom and was meeted with the teachers eyes hardly any of the class had arrived yet so it was rather awkward and quite between them. Quite enough to hear a pen drop the teacher broke that quite "I hope you read the chapter like you stated Ren afterall I expect you to do good considering your record so far." Ren thinking Geez you would believe I would get recognition rather then scolded for having those grades. He sighed "Yes I am ready as always" With that the class finally started arriving. The teacher stood up "alright class today you will be tested over chapter 1 of the book I made you all read. I do hope you read it fully and perform up to the standards of this school." With that he handed out the test and everybody began. Well this test is not that hard as I expected Ren thought. Within 20 minutes Ren had finished his although the rest of the class were far behind. The teacher went over to his desk and grabbed his test."Well I hope you scored well on the test" With that ren started on chapter 2 of his book to get ahead of the rest. Mid way in though everybody had finished there test and the class was soon over. The teacher looking over everybody said" You will be getting the grade for the test tomorrow I do hope you all passed. If not then you will see me after class." Ren relieved that it was over for today quickly left the classroom. The next few classes as usual went by fast and were easy. Before he knew it school was over yet again. However when he was leaving school he saw that it had begun raining outside which was rare weather for this city. However relieved he thought " thank god I bring my umbrella with me always since it is starting to pour down. He opened the umbrella then ran for the bus and got on. The bus ride was quite for the most part as he looked out the window and saw the water hitting the glass followed by thunder. He eventually got home though and pulled out his umbrella then made his way to his house. pt3 ch1 end

"Well I am home it has been raining ever since I made my way back" He said as he walked up stairs and unpacked. He then wondered for a minute why nobody had responded. "Hey is anybody there" as he went back downstairs and looked in the living room. However the room looked like there was a gust of wind that pushed into the living room when he saw it. A few things were knocked over. Surprised "Why is this stuff on the floor did something happen between you guys" He received no answer. Starting thinking "they would have to be home I know that their work schedules are clearly a few hours before this. They would have told me otherwise. " He was now somewhat unnerved but still he went upstairs to his parents room hoping that they would be there, he opened the door and found nobody the room had the same treatment as the living room as well. There were no signs of his parents at this point he started getting worried even more. "Mom and dad where did you go come on tell me" He frantically started searching in the things that were knocked over and could not find anything to give him any knowledge on what happened. He fell to the floor sniffling and began to cry. This was the first time he had ever really been put out of a comfort zone like this. He was not used to this kind of thing. "Please mom talk to me just let me know you are coming home or tell me that you will be here" I dont want too be alone like this he said through his sobs. However as he searched more despite crying he made his way over to the dresser he then spotted something that looked to be a tablet. "What is this thing he said somewhat hoping that it would give him some form of information on what happened. He saw what looked to be on button and pushed it. On the screen appeared a call from the device. Hesitant but wanting to know more about what happened he answered it. "Who .. is this" The voice that answered back was rough and was emotionless to a extent. "Who I am has no concern, tell me how do you feel right now with your parents gone?" He then feeling anger and sadness both yelled back into the device "I feel horrible thats what I feel you sound like the one who did it, are you behind it" he started trying to hold back his tears. "You seem sad and frightened I guess putting you out of your comfort zone like this especially on a kid no less would be seen as a bit extreme. However that is also due to how the world has made you feel like there is nothing to worry about as well. I am behind this and I do have your parents" Ren feeling horrible but mad enough said" You did this, I..despise you, what you have done is wrong that is my family you have taken. I am going to call the cops on you and I will get my parents" he said in between sobs. "A simple solution but it will not work, call them if you want but that will do you no good, if you wish to see your parents you will go to the iris tower." Ren enraged and sad at the same time said" Are you insane why would I go what is the point of you kidnapping my parents just for me to go there if you really wanted me why not just take me without messing with my parents , not to mention I am a kid do you really think I can just go where I want.""You are impatient but it is expected in your current stature. I have my reasons for needing you that is for sure. However taking you by force would destroy the point of me needing you" I need you to come willingly even if it is only to reclaim your parents. The buses and trains run at night you have a pass, of course people would be wondering what a ten year old kid would be doing this late. I leave the manner in you getting there without anything undesirable happening up to you." With that the device shut itself off and the boy was left to think to himself in silence. "What why is this happening, what did I do and why am I important to whoever that is, Damn it I ..I dont want to be alone, I need to find my parents. Would I really do what the person says though I cant risk calling the cops if it may harm my parents." He fell to the floor again crying and pounding the floor with his fist. "Mom...Dad why did this happen to us, I dont want to be away from you." He sit there with his face towards the floor staring at it with tears falling from his face. Then looking up to see a picture of him and his family. With that he clenched his fist, thinking to himself even if I am just a kid if I can do something to help my parents I will do whatever it takes, I have no idea what I am getting into but I am not going to stay here and not try. He slowly got up and walking slowly and still tears dropping from his face went to his room.
