Concerts?

Anyone love going to concerts? I haven't gone to any in years, but very recently I've gone to two - Against Me! and Swans with Jenny Hval. Next I'm going to see my favorite band Agalloch with Jex Thoth. Any concerts you've recently gone to? Any planned in the future?

I love going to concerts. My favorite venue is First Ave in Minneapolis. The most recent shows I've been to was Nine Inch Nails, Jimmy Eat World, and Walk the Moon. Walk the Moon was amazing and I loved it!

I haven't gone to a concert in like 8 or more years, my friend took me to see Silverstein for my 14th birthday I think (or 13th) They're alright, Mosh Pits are fun

Captain: Sounds like a good set, although I wouldn't picture NiN and Jimmy Eat World together lol. A weird combination in my mind, but hey I wasn't there. Well Buji, go to a damn show. lol

Lol, my first concert when I was 14 was Depeche Mode. When I was 20 and 21 I went to Korn and Rob Zombie and then the next year, A Perfect Circle and NIN. About 14yrs ago I saw Mortiis play in a laudrymat in Cincinnati and about 3 or 4yrs ago I saw Emilie Autumn in Chicago.

I prefer smaller shows. Been to a few small concerts and the bands are more personal with the fans. Makes the experience worth while.

@Vampire: I wish I was cool enough when I was 14 to appreciate Depeche Mode. I actually saw Emilie Autumn too just a few years ago, but I honestly got into her for a girl I liked lol. Good show though; at the very least they have a cool stage presence/setup. My first concert, although it's pretty plebby, was Mayhem Festival when I was... 15? A lot of mediocre metalcore bands, but the main stage was Dragonforce (they were awful), Disturbed and Slipknot. @Urtv: Anyone I've heard of? The Swans show I went to was kind of smaller and there was room to have personal space, and I've seen some smaller local shows too, but not recently. @Sazerac: That's a bummer. Anything recently you've gone to?
