Would you date an android

If our technology was that advanced, would you consider getting an android girlfriend or boyfriend? Also,would you have sexual relations with an android? Why or why not? Sorry if the second question seems really pervy.Not my intent ._.

I'm typing on one right now...XD Also, why not? We are playing God in my opinion by trying to creat self aware machines. What are we by definition? Self aware biological machines. In other words, they'd be like us anyways, just mechanical instead of biological. There'd still be male and female if we so wish. At that point it's not falling in love with a machine, but another life not much different than our own.

If the android in question was advanced enough to fool you into thinking it was human from a physical perspective then I would consider it as a gf surrogate. If it was also intelligent and self aware and had human emotions then that is a more complex question and may consider a serious relationship possible.

It's been a long standing dream to have an effective and affordable robot wife. Y'know, once they get those human killing kinks worked out. And could you really call it a sexual relationship? It would need a very advanced AI to comprehend the significance of making love. Otherwise it's just a very elaborate vibrator. Either way, I probably would. Indeed I would as long as it had the choice to do so and was thinking freely. I would not want a sex doll so to speak. I firmly believe if machines can replicate us and truly are self aware and you both like each other why not. It does not help my case though that I am a focused with robotics and tech in general. However if I find a human here that I like then so be it I'm not looking for a machine specifically just would not mind if it is was machine. I will probably edit this post with a more detailed view when I'm off since it is a very important topic.
