Am I the only guy on this entire site that is....

@k lol! I'm one of those guys primary on here to just talk to people that share my interests. I don't try to pursue relationships on here for the same reason I don't play the lottery or wish on shooting stars.

Nice one there @yasshat ! I'm a newbie to this site. To the main question that was asked, I feel that having an opinion similar to @Arc would be great but yes in the long run some good friendships might turn to relationships. Solely looking for partners to date would be more depressing irrespective of the gender.

@Tigerfestival Just want to point out, this sites logo has a heart. .__. On my end, Im here for both! I have alot of Otaku friends and I was president of my HS anime club so I know alot of people locally that I could date. But I was interested in expanding my cirlce of friends. While it would be nice to find someone to date im not really on here for that single reason. Simply put, if I find friends than I have friends; If I find the Cas to my Dean, then Id thrilled! But I know this world works in the oddest ways! Its only a matter of time!

Obtaining friends through this site is more difficult than going out and meeting new people IMO. I haven't found friendship material on here and the individuals I have talked too are way too judgmental for my liking.

Oh dang Im sorry Michael! My experience on this site has been quite nice! I think if you go on any dating site(s) you would find a very similar experience. I also agree with you, real life meeting is much easier than meeting online! I think that, as one guy to another, eventually youll find that one person; and all those other judgmental users who missed their shot are SOL! I mean... Unless your a dirt bag... If thats the case, God help ya!

Well I'm just here for whatever comes my way. If I meet a girl then great! (although I don't see any people who have actually got together on here yet) However it's never bad to meet new people and become friends of course :D

@Michael: I hear you man. On my end it is my own fault though, Most of my personally traits are considered negative by most people and I am not ashamed of myself so I dont hide all the things about me that scare people away, if they ask, I will answer, and the answer will be either misunderstood or taken as an insult. I've learned to live with it, dont even know why I am on here except to get another hour of the day to go by somehow... Thought it would be a nice change of atmosphere from the judgemental commoners of the real world, but lo and behold, the cultural differences... An american free thinker is just shy of a scandinavian prude on the "tight asshole scale" My guess is its all the religious madness and censoring (why these things still exists in a modern society boggles my mind) that goes on beyond the Atlantic ocean, but yeah, in the end one just have to resign to the fate one have being the rarest pokemon of all... (Im way old for pokemon so only know about the 151st ones, I realize this Mew reference might be outdated)

I'd love to find somebody. But so far, people thst I spoke to are addicted to WoW or yaoi more than actually interested in a relationship.
