Cyberpower, opinions, thoughts, storys?

momoichi
Mine: Opinion? Cheaply made there for crap shoot if its actually a good one Thoughts? applesauce Stories? I got one for my graduation present and it came not working, we blame it on a broken power supply as it wouldn't even start Yours?

Cyberpower is usually mixed but unless you are willing to blow alot of money then it may come out to be rather bad. Ibuypower and orgin pcs are pretty reliable based on what I seen although expensive as well.
momoichi
Cyberpower is nooooot expensive lol, 500 for buuuying (as appose to building ur own) a gaming pc is good, mainly for the specs they offer
metaljester
I meant that the base computers are cheap which are more prone to issues however if you put enough money such as 800 to 1000 at least you can have a decent PC from them. Still though I have heard way to many complaints myself much rather go with building one or going with one of the computer comps that is known for good ones.
momoichi
if ur gonna spend 800+ on a computer u might as well have it built then lol
metaljester
Unless you are lazy of course or just have extra money lying around sometimes having one prebuilt pays off with the coverage and protection you get. Along with a few other things. A example would be if you did build a good one but made a mistake on something such as the power. Just imagine who will be paying for a new one that's why unless you have proficient knowledge in building a gaming computer I would avoid it.
momoichi
now adays building a computer is easier then ud think, my ex replaced his graphics card by watching a youtube video on it. If your going to pay 800+ on parts and don't knw how to put it together I wood recommend ordering the parts online and having them build it and send u it, the cost isn't asmuch as ud think.....(even walmart has a custom parts section) ud just have to wait longer for it to arrive
metaljester
Yeah you are correct there are companies out there that will build it for you but at the same time they will not provide parts warranty and such for it. The golden rule that making your own computer is always better then buying a pre built one is not always true there are a few out there that offer better value then making it. Also for low tier and mid tier computer without much gimmicks that is true but if you start adding things such as water cooling or all kind of fancy internal checking systems then it can be rather hard. It all depends on the scenario really when it comes to if you want a pre built or build one yourself.

Desktops are easier to maintain for gaming and work in the long run.
