I'm new and haven't found one. I wanted to make a local talk for Albuquerque ~ but I believe more common area's like (cali or new-york)would be likely to have doubles.

I've overlooked the page a few time's and have not found a forum search bar in Firefox or chrome. Are you a premium member or something? It's likely you would have options than I would as a basic user.
(an old trick is to search a site using Google for topics isn't a bad way to find what your looking for)
I found {New Mexico or Arizona Otakus? - MaiOtaku Anime} using the Google method.

I agree, the forums should really have a way to search for topics so you aren't creating a topic for something that already exists.

What neetone said. It's a pain scrolling through old threads to avoid repeating.

Yes, this is exactly what I was looking to ask about. There really should be a better way to search for and navigate through the forum topics. I also wish the site would be easier to navigate through as a whole...

FULLY agree. If a 'search' tag is not feasible, perhaps a notifier of some sort to note that the thread you commented on has been updated with more comments from other users regardless of subscription status?
