Looking at a possible move to the Palm Springs/Palm Desert area next year as it seems to be the most affordable and not totally crime ridden area of SoCal. I hate cold weather, I like hot and dry and sunny. I'm already living in a small resort town on the Oregon coast working at a Best Western hotel and I could probably just transfer to one down there. Anyone ever lived there?

There isn't a whole lot to do in Palm Springs area. It's like a nice rich resort area. And unless you're into shit like Coachella and stuff there isn't a whole lot to do unless you drive out a few hours.
