Any georgia anime peeps

I would love to make more friends Trying to fiqure out if theres a local club or maybe make one

Georgia anime peeps found 1 Depends on where you live in Georgia. I live south of Atlanta and so the nearest to me is about an hour away T_T there are quite a few anywhere other than where I am. Starting one would be great but first you want to make sure you have the interest to get it started. Where are my manners, I noticed your new to the site. Welcome ^_^

there's one anime club that meets once a month for about an hour or 2(I think 2) named Atlanime and they should be in the ballpark of 30-40 mins away from you I think. They have a website if you want to check it out.

I'm in Lawrenceville, about 40 minutes away from Alph. Duluth is like dead center between us. I'd love to be friends! Especially considering I've lived here since January of '13 and not even tried to make a single one... :I

@rotolotto Lived here since 13 and haven't tried to make a single friend? BROTHER!!! Joking but seriously yeah, I've lived here since...oh crap...when? Oh yeah about 2007 and until recently I could count the number of friends I had in-state on one hand(literally) and actually I could count the number of friends out-of-state on my other hand....what you might call an introvert...possibly antisocial although you wouldn't guess if you didn't meet me in person.

@animekid I understand completely. I tend to be the same way once you get to know me, which doesn't take long lol. I only have a handful of friends out there, but the ones I do have know more about me than even my family does, haha. I just have a crippling aversion to social settings. I just can't go out and meet people, I'm way too susceptible to anxiety to go to anyplace with a bunch of people, and that notwithstanding I'm just terribly shy. It's impossible to make friends when you're afraid of people lol

@rotolotto I'm very shy as well (until you get to know me then I won't shut up lol) and usually at things like parties I'm the one in the corner away from everybody else just hoping that nobody will talk to me and if they do I'll either "latch" on to a common interest if any or just fake polite interest as best I can until the conversation ends or there's enough awkwardness/silence that they leave lol. I once took an F in one of my classes instead of standing up in front of everybody and reading my essay (I think it was an essay....some paper), and I KNEW everybody in the class too lol. The F was because the oral part was a BIG part of the grade. We worked something out later to better the grade but yeah....rather take an F instead of doing something so "simple and quick".... It really is almost impossible to make friends when you really would rather not go and talk to other people in the first place lol. P.S. I've gotten much better it seems with going out and talking to people I don't know but I still have a good ways to go haha.
