Those days that follow, hearing your voice on the phone or seeing your face on a video call, I began to realize I missed you more and more each time we said goodbye. I wanted to be by your side again. I couldn't wait any longer. It was a long flight to be by your side, but when at last I saw you in person again, and saw the tears in your eyes and the smile on your face as you ran to me, I knew from that moment I couldn't be without you anymore. Looking back to that day, I still get a smile on my face, remembering when you said yes. It's my most treasured memory and one that helps to keep me going.
