Japanese Gardens

I am really fond of Japanese Gardens. We have a really nice on here in the area. When I traveled in my years as a Geologist, visiting the local Japanese Garden was always my top "tourist" priority. Any nice Japanese Gardens where you live?

Here in <b>Houston</b> we have a Japanese Garden in <b>Hermann Park</b>. URL: <url>http://www.jgarden.org/gardens.asp?TAB=photos&ID=376</url> <img>http://www.jgarden.org/images_gardens/hermann_park_houston06.jpg</img> We have a Japanese lantern from Chiba, our sister city, as a gift to commemorate our relationship. It's a very lovely garden, I should see it again.

I love gardens, I grow the lovelyest moon flowers but I was never really impressed with the ones in japan, I would get all geeked thinking flowers and nine times out of ten it would be arock garden, with little to no vegitation. Well i Guess geologist's appreciation of stone would be on a higher level then mine
