Role-Play "The Haven"

A huge cloud of smoke appears in front of the gatekeeper as he looks up 4ft in front of him there comes a fireball that could engulf a small town...

Flips through the pages of his book as he sees the smoke appear in front of him. Nonchalantly shrugging it off as he looks down at his book and moves through the pages once more. Looking up once more to see a fireball heading in his general direction, closing his book and placing it by his side as he waits for the fireball to reach him.

The fireball implodes as the smoke clears, a girl steps forth congradulating the gatekeeper " congrats on not panicking you will do, I've come to seek knowledge of anything and everything. Will you permit me access to this Haven?" ( the girl is 4ft 9in and is wearing a black robe with white glowing symbols from her home and is carrying a book with a lock on it)

Looks at the girl in front of me and scopes out her figure while leaning back against the wall and opening his book before speaking," What is it exactly that you're looking for find here or are you just on a path to take in everything that you see first-hand, possibly take in second and third-hand as well?" He states as he slightly looks over his book at girl standing before him.

"Just as you say I'm looking to find everything, just like your book I'm sure you've read it just as many times as I've read my book the only ally and friend you have." She said in an admiring tone never stopped gazing at his book ( I'm going to apologize in advance. I'm going to keep you busy with this because I get addicted to any RP thing and I will be patient)

Glances at her before closing the book and slightly waving his hand over it so that it would shrink and disappear before her."I see, well I encourage the thirst for knowledge. But if anything were to happen to this world that I keep watch over and you be the cause of it. I will have to bring down you down with all that I may have." He says as he waves his hand once more, a badge in his hand as he extends it to the girl.

Looks at the girl before opening his book once more that manifests in his left hand out of the vapor from the air."The largest library can be found in the lands of Techne that is far west after you pass through the Midway. If you want to know more I would suggest you talk to the keeper of the pub after you enter Midway." He says before taking his post once more, and flipping through the pages of his book.

"Thank you and my apologies my name is cat" she steps through the gate, light shimmering from the other side blinding her before entering. She walks slowly and was surprised how green it was admiring which way the plant life grew and trying every fruit that grew on the massive trees before walking in the tavern. She scopes the tavern, hoping to find the keeper. Exhausted from climbing trees she decides to order. "Excuse me what would you recommend on the menu?" She asked the waitress.
