Role-Play "The Haven"

Watches as she goes through the gate that manifested in front of her before continuing through his book once more, some more writing forming on the blank pages of the book as Cat enters The Haven. The bar bustling with people even during the time of day it was you could hear the PuB as soon as you enter the gate into Midway. "Quiet down yah bunch of animals!" The waitress yells at the other customers as they just chuckle it off before continue their loud banter about the adventures they've had throughout The Haven. A glass held in one hand and a cloth in the other as she cleans the glass, walking over to the newest face she's seen in some time. "Oh well look what we got here, a fresh new face coming to these parts." She says as she finishes cleaning the glass and starts pouring some ale into it."Well right now we're out of any hardy food because these folks are just human garbage disposals, but I can get you some garlic bread if you need somethin to hold ya over." She says sliding the ale over to the customer,"and that is on tha house, Welcome to Midway PuB."

As Cat starts to take off the lock of her book she stares deeply at it with great dark blue eyes before answering the waitress. "Thank you that would be great. You wouldn't happen to be the keeper of this pub would you?"

The waitress gives a big smile and slaps her hand on the top of the bar," Well yes, I do own this PuB you see here, will all my rambunctious fellows here." She says before taking out a bowl of garlic bread and sliding it next to the ale that was previously slid over,"Is there something specific that you're looking fer?"

Cat fiercely ate the garlic bread. "Mmmphrmm" she took a large gulp of the ale. "Sorry I meant to say yes there is. See Luchian said the largest library could be found at Techne I would like to go there any directions?" She starts flipping the pages of her book looking for a certain page. [umm what would the currency be]

"Did he now?" she says leaning over the counter so that only the conversation could be a little more private,"Now what are ya lookin for in a place like that, with all that knowledge?" She says quarking a brow slightly. (gold coins, or rather in Midway any currency will be converted to the right amount of payment if you're from another world as it is a place in limbo between worlds)

Exicited about the question she tells the waitress "my master once said knowledge could lead one self into happiness but, after he died I couldn't gain happiness so I decided to take his words of advice." and with a more of a hushed voice she says "and I want to find a way to bring him back."

"Oh did he now?" She said as she took the glass from the customer and started cleaning it slowly before filling it with more ale and sliding it over to the customer once more. "That one is on the house, but lemme warn ya, the path you seek is far from easy but I wish you the best of luck."

She starts to sip the ale staring at one of the adventures. "Soooo are any of these barbarians a sell sword or a mercenary because I'm going to need some sort of protection?" Looking back at the waitress. "Sorry I always get ahead of myself my name is Cat nice to meet you"

The waitress lets out a small chuckle before gazing at her customer," No deary, I wouldn't advise taking any of these men with you to the place that you're going, they wouldn't last more than 10 hours on a dangerous quest."

Cat then looked a little puzzled. "Thank you for your advice could you give me the directions to the nearest town west." She then took the rest of the ale.
