Looking for New Place to Live and Roommate!~

angelaria
Edit: Thanks everyone, but I just paid cash for a fairly large (4 bedroom+attic bdrm, 2000sqft) house in Toledo, Ohio. It was $32k, but looks amazing. If anyone is looking for a place that has insane deals on houses, come here! If you live around here, or want to move here, maybe I'd be willing to rent a room to you (for close friends, I'd only require the bills be split). Too bad I can't delete all the troll comments. C'mon guys, is it really that hard to believe I'm being serious about this? Nice to know there are lots of sheltered brats on here.

Edit: You DON'T need to already have an apartment or place to stay. I need my name on a lease to help build credit. -Community college is not the same as a University. Universities are far more expensive. -Some rules are compromisable, depending on reasons and circumstances. I know some people can't live without their crack/weed or beer, and the only problems I have with it are the effects it has on how someone behaves. If you can handle that stuff without becoming destructive in any way, then I'd let it go. -Yes, this thread is serious, I'm not a troll. I created it because I figured there had to be someone out there who wants to get out of a current living situation and try a new place with a new roommate. I'm not using a roommate website, because I highly doubt many "regular" people could stand myself and my interests. -If you live with your parents, yet are VERY serious about becoming independent, and particularly like what I've written on my profile, too, I can pay for stuff until you get a job. I will be the only one signing the lease until then, however, and if you're being lazy about it, I'll kick you out in a heartbeat.

If I had my own place I would help out, but I am moving out from my parents (in college, free rent, can't complain) in 2 years to Pittsburgh to stay with a friend. Course working a 50 hour week job really sucks.

It all depends on what you'd like to do, base your locations off what type of major you'd like to pursue or type of work you'd like to get into because every city will have a strong job market for certain areas and fields. Since you're fairly young, not implying that I'm older and know better, you should do some deep research even though time seems to be against you. I can help out with the research part, just drop me a message!

I live in a city predominantly asian's University and college's are close. Trash can outback serves as a good shelter. I'll charge you what the city charges me to use it. You can pay me with a credit card to build your credit. I will supply 1 tarp 1 sleeping bag 1 portable shower 1 pound of dirt you can use as a toilet I will go to the local butcher to get some offal meat for food. You can buy it from me at a discounted rate with again... A credit card. For transportation I will give you the full drawings of da vinci's flying apparatus. I have a job placement program that is for steam cleaning the streets of the city I reside in. Once a year I will allow you into my abode and that is during Christmas time. Inquire quickly as time is running out until christmas.

Well, you definitely have an interesting set of circumstances given your current living situation. Not many people can just pack up at 18 and shoot where the wind takes them, although it's unfortunate your parent had to pass away and you're being left to your own devices at a pretty young age. I have my own place, vehicle, and a pretty solid job but I guess I'm not really looking to have anyone move in out of the blue and I'm probably a bit older than you'd be comfortable living with anyways. (I'm 33) The town I live in does have a pretty good community college and four year university as well as a good amount of shopping and things to do. We even have our own anime con that I help organize every year. The only downside is the fact Winter is coming up fast and snow is going to be flying here pretty quickly even if there's not much on the ground yet. If you see this and want more info, just let me know and I'll do what I can to help.

The house connected to mine is for rent, I have some friends who are looking to rent it but each one of them needs a reliable roommate, It's in a small town in NC, rent's 450 a month and its just been fixed up after our last neighbors left thru Century 21. Utilities run about 150 worst come to worst (ours are bout 60 but we don't use the heat unless it's freezing), the area's very country, and a bit backwoods-ish but very quiet, and it'll help ya build a bit of credit and equity, it's not a bad deal.

@michael omg lmao Hi, I can open up a room that I can rent out to you if you're looking for someplace on the east-side. I live right behind a community college(but never went to it myself as I graduated from a completely different university). My house is surrounded by a forest and is quiet at night. Only downfall is that it's in the industrial area so it does get a little bit busy during the day with trucks passing by. My residents: My grandmother whom I take care of, we don't have many guests over except for family (big family), dont smoke or drink. Oh and we live in New Jersey. Seems like a lot of people have been moving this year. If you're interested then maybe we could work something out if you haven't found something yet. There's a lot more places in the area that are for rent in the area too.
