Other's Opinions, A Relationship that could have Been.

the_geeky_panda
Right now I am opted for a more sensible approach and just getting to know the person first. My Best Friend I always keep his opinion in mind because he knows and understands how I think and knows what kind of girl I like. If he recommends me not dating a certain girl I will listen to his reasons and see for me own while I am getting to know her. Having a best friend is great because they will noticed stuff you missed out on in the person you like. Regular friends I just get a quick opinion. Overall I don't try to let the situation of "I could of dated that person" or "I wonder how things will be like if we actually went out" in my head because you will never stop thinking that. Best to let things go for better or worst. If the opportunity arises later on, then you can see.

Geeky i think most people would do that. But you didn't answer the question within context. You friend doesnt know one thing about this person. And is trying to convince you not to talk to them. What do you do? It's one thing for them to know the person or seen them and their behavior, and tell you to not talk to them because suddenly the friend feels alienated if you don't,making you choose between them and the person of interest.. it's another when they are warning you to be careful. Keep in mind...this friend is basing their judgement on nothing.

Luckily my best friend doesn't base his judgement on nothing, I usually have him meet her and we all hangout and he gets his opinion on the matter. Not just once but a few times.

Which was the point i was making Geeky lol.

Then she or he is just a jelly bietch, prolly heard the person met you on an otaku dating site and said fuck that dont talk to him. Lots of stupid ignorant people out there. If the girl Didnt stand up and defend talking to you then you can see just how strong her friends influence her.

No one needs to get all crazy lol but they all said what i originally did, if she isn't willing to convince her friend or try then she didn't even care enough to begin with. That means you shouldn't worry about it and move on, unless you try and tell her to convince her friend. But my opinion of her friend would be low...

Like i said, I don't want anyone to think she was a bad person. She is awesome, we clicked and we clicked very well. Just unfortunate that the friend had zero love for me and she was willing to throw it all away because of it. :P It's nice to know that people share the same insight as I do on this situation, i wanted to confirm if i was crazy or not and i guess that confirms that i'm pretty down to earth <3
jvega
@tornadomushroom Its very safe to assume your down to earth considering i'm as normal as they get these days haha Plus anything else would be too biased or assumed really, perhaps even extremes. Rational is normal!

Hmm I like to think I'm down to earth haha. It's all good though, it is what it is. No biggie B).
