Need help finding that special someone

I feel it is hard for me to find a person that has similar interests to my own.when ever someone talks to me they immediately think I'm into sports. I can't help feeling like a lonely rock in a desert ;w;

Well, there is nothing wrong with looking like you're into sports. lol. As for looking for that special someone, i wouldn't worry too much about it. You're 18 MAN! lol, I'd do almost anything to be 18 again. Just be yourself and make sure you're fair to YOURSELF. Some people get so caught up in it that they forget about caring for themselves and it later takes it's toll on you if a relationship goes bad. NO HOMO but you're a pretty handsome guy, I wouldn't sweat it too much.

Perhaps try taking control of the conversation? I know it can be tough. I tend to just go with the conversation flow myself. Still if you start talking about anime or games you'll quickly find out what they like. In fact you can use a sports conversation and transform it into an anime one! "Yeah football is cool. I really like Eye Shield 21! Have you seen it?"
