Oreo is right, if you ask people out there if they would date you, it shows lack of self-confidence. Managing your life, plus keeping your head above it all, just give it that extra confidence and your all set.

For me it's all about ur personality. Im not in the best situation myself. I dont have a car, use to have my own place but after i lost my job i lost that. Trying to get another job in STL is hard and im in college right now and figured that i'll save more money just living with a relative then transfer to a university and live on campus. For me as long as ur not bumming out at ur parents house, not going to school, nor looking for a job, like being absolutely unproductive wat so ever, than ur fine with me as long as our personalities sync up.

Just to piggy back what oreo said haha oreo anyway he's right you need confidence stop being your own victim soon enough you wont have anyone that would be around you if you keep beating yourself up yes girls have their own taste in guys but we men also have taste in girls as well now thats not saying im shallow because im not i go for personality and if she happens to be beautiful well thats a bonus for me :D also if a girl rejects you so what theirs other woman in the sea just pick yourself up and keep trying never give up do stuff that motivates you join anime clubs or gaming clubs theirs always parental to meet new people their just me i have met some really awesome people in social things like that just believe that everyday you can be the best you can be to achive whatever you want to achive good luck my friend c:

idk as for self confidence that's something I don't see me having for a long time I know its something people should have but with everything that's happen in my life idk I guess I just slowly lost it. that doesn't stop me from talking to people though granted this is a small town and I don't get out much so most my talking is online but still I write anywhere from 4 to 10 girls a day for everyday for the past year and yet haven had only about 50 talk to me for more than a week they just stop. I know my life isn't stable but doesn't mean I cant handle a relationship added to it and Id rather prefer to have one I feel happier and more complete with one.

i agree with cantthink, i really dont trust online dating unless they are local, you live close to them, just join local clubs that you are interested in.

I think another thing to consider about relationships is that it's two people involved, each with their own lives. I suppose it's kinda jumps into what cantthink is saying. Don't try to date someone because you think they'll fix you or complete you. I don't think anyone would appreciate that kind of burden and pressure I think it's something to think about, why do you want a relationship? If your reasons are all it completes me, it makes my life more exciting, or like it'll fix my life, I would say that perhaps you're not in the proper mindset.

I never said I wasn't happy im ok with myself just don't like myself its hard to explain exactly basically im proud to be an otaku who plays pokemon games and yugioh and will straight out tell people but at the same time I think im ugy and fat but like I said ive tried to change that but I cant. as for dating scene I am doing online for local people well semi local I don't do long distance doesn't work out just the town I live in the few places you can go out to I know everyone there like I said its a small town. I have goals I just cant set them in motion yet im stuck in a point where I need to be open to get a job if I need to do that first if not in a couple months ill be starting college and getting my degree. I don't see how its bad to have a relationship to make you happy or complete I mean your saying its bad to want to have someone you care about can wake up next to and go to sleep with spend time with and feel loved but also return the favor someone you can make nice memories. I like being able to hold hands and hug and cuddle be able to buy them things that I think theyd like and I never once said im putting the pressure of my life on them its mine I take care of my business I don't want someone taking care of me or my son if anything I want to be able to take care of someone else except for when im sick I love when someone takes care of me when im sick I find it really sweet and love it
