Depressed. Struggling with Summer job ideas. Anxious of relaxing with my hobbies because of possible incoming alerts. Lacking local friends with similar interests and good social behavior. Life is cruel.

Neverland @dakoya Lol, just take this as one of those bumps in life. I currently am at a crossroads myself. Lots of time and thinking involved, until I have to start paying back my debts T.T

meisterman1985 @meisterman1985 It just makes me feel like I should painfully exhaust myself struggling in job search while hearing my father's insulting words and my mother's childish words keep being stuck in my mind demotivating me. I have applied at most jobs without a resumé and no luck, while a student in language school said you must have a resumé, and when I used that at a high school cafeteria job, I got hired. But now I fear working there due to health risks, despite doing well there.

Neverland @dakoya My dad is kind of the same, except he tries more to trick me into marrying a girl overseas, just so I can get a wife lol. What are the health risks you are facing at your current job? Have you tried job fairs? Sometimes job fairs provide a better opportunity b/c you actually get to talk to people and they may be more willing to hire you after getting to know you better. I had a good experience once w/ a CFO of a company. Although they weren't hiring people "like me - (no experience and the like)", he listened to how I just wanted a foot in the door and build my way. Gave me his card and told me to give him a call. I got another opportunity, but I never forgot what he did for me.

meisterman1985 @meisterman1985 I see. It even frustrates me between take a risk and don't take a risk. When on breakfast and lunch break, I eat cafeteria food for free, but noticed I got backaches and constipation from there. Neverland @dakoya I would probably go on a tirade of stuff, but uh.... I guess the longer I've stayed on the site, the less happy I am, but like I still can't stop using it? Now that I mention this, it seems like a drug?

Yellow Otaku @yellowotaku I know a get what you meant but at the same time, I don't. It's about 70/30.

Neverland @dakoya Sounds reasonable w/ the context I wrote in lol. I didn't explain it much, but I think it's mainly because of the experience I had here. Meeting some people who get go off on you for no reason or hypocrites going off on you and doing said things themselves. All sorts of stuff. I think I came to the site, expecting to make some cool anime buds, but... it's kind of hard on this site that seems (to me) to be barely surviving... or like a lost relic.

Ah I see. I wonder if that will happen to me. I've only made an acct this past thanksgiving. I think I'll probably be on and off at months at a time to years.
