yaasshat @yaasshat You know what I've been actually thinking? Sure, I have family and all, but I really miss having friends that are like family. Can't really explain it, but I just woke up thinking about that and kind of a bit sad because of it... It's been a long time since I just hung out with friends or, well, truly had friends (Wife excluded, I mean, I do obviously consider her my friend, it's just on a different level.). It's good to do a little introspection on things every once in a while. Although, it's been very nice having these past few days off after working 70hr work weeks for the past month without a day off. I hope you've been able to spend time with family/friends as well.

yaasshat @yaasshat Before all the craziness of the internet it was about personal interaction and seemingly less competition since you weren't trying to talk over a few hundred other guys at the same time. It's still how it's always been, stick out in a manner that shows you're attractiveness. I understand that online it truly is a buffet of dicks for women, however it's not like every guy has a chance. Women have to have at least perceived looks when online. A guy can't get a feel for you on line, but we are most certainly visual creatures and as such a pretty picture will do. For instance, I met my wife online and I thought she was cute. However, when we met, it wasn't her looks that won me over so much as her personality. But, seeing as I only saw a picture online, she had to play up that picture to look the most appealing. Let me just put it this way, I HIGHLY doubt a heavy set woman gets nearly the amount of make attention as a physically fit one, hobby or not. And that's why I say it's not ALWAYS so easy for a woman online.
