I also thought Funimation made the anime but actually they only distribute and translate anime into English. Funimation generally does bring some good anime to the west though. Chances are that there would be something to ones liking.

I'm glad XD For some reason I can't stand it when people try so hard to be really formal XD It's a shame I always had to do it at every job I've had :I I only ever write like that when I'm really trying to deliver a clear message though XD Haha!! Somehow you really make the private school you went to sound not great whatsoever XD Can't blame you if it took an hour to get there from where you are :I A lot of people tell me it's easy to pick up but being someone with a coordination disability, I find it very hard to believe that XD It's also why I'm terrible at a lot of stuff that are seemingly simple for most other people :I Heh! Ah I'm used to it o/ I can manage it no problem :3 Oh trust me I do XD But somehow it still gets through XD Not as much with sunscreen but it can get through XD

Then we're quite similar in that regard. I also just browse through and look at the reviews and what people say. I like to look at what animation studio is doing what too. Usually a studio has a certain style and if you like one of their anime the chances are that you'd like the other productions too.

x'D That's how I feel about anime like Guilty Crown or the Clannad movie, I feel like it's just better to watch them than sit there and discuss. xD It's funny how a good number of great anime happen to be the sad ones that just hit your emotions like a punching bag. >.> i don't think you'll be getting any ideas from this. The assassination attempts are pretty straight forward xD >:I Anime is not there to help you come up with assassination ideas it's there to make you feel and tell you stories and then push you off an emotional roller -coaster at the highest peak!
