Pupa is not particularly good but worth watching just for the fucked upness of it. Acouple other better but weird anime you might check out is Shinsekai Yori: https://myanimelist.net/anime/13125/Shinsekai_yori and Texhnolyze: https://myanimelist.net/anime/26/Texhnolyze
