I agree with @PrinceOfJunes, I don't think it works for Berserk It may be nostalgia speaking, but there's something more artistic and beautiful in 2D animation. You appreciate it more because you can tell a lot of time and effort has gone into it.

Anime that you feel gets less attention than it should.

D. Gray-man . I think it gets attention but not as much as it deserves. Perhaps it's because the anime and manga was on hiatus for such a long time. I personally haven't heard people talk about it as one of the great shounen series, But the concept and the story are great and the characters are well thought out and developed.
