There's another 'main girl' like Toko named Yukiko. She's a good character too, and I really liked her story, but she's not as prominent as Toko was in KnS1. Kara no Shoujo 2 has a lot of characters and a lot of different things going on in its story. It's a much more ambitious story than KnS1. Of course, it all weaves together and by the end you get the whole picture, but Yukiko is just one part of this huge story.
But hey, I know how you feel about Toko. Look at it this way. Do you really think Toko would be totally absent from Kara no Shoujo 2? Do you really think Reiji would just give up his search for her? :)

To answer your question from your intro thread, I'm pretty big into visual novels. Let me just tell you, if you liked Kara no Shoujo, you've gotta read Kara no Shoujo 2. I know Toko isn't in there like she is in Kara no Shoujo, but trust me. Kara no Shoujo 2 is fantastic. You wouldn't regret it.
