I’m a thirty-one-year-old novelist at the moment. It’s my passion and where all my vibrancy resides. I’ve written twenty-nine books in the last six and half years. I bounce around a lot with genres like sci-fi, urban fantasy, psychological thriller, young adult, romance, horror and high fantasy. I have an undergrad degree in studio art and my master’s in English Lit.
If you’re with me, you have to expect a little bit of crazy. Not in the violent sense. Think a necromancer trapped in a tower with nothing to do but bask in whimsical adventures. I get distracted a lot by silly little details in life and use them to make people laugh. I’m weird. Weirder than most people who claim that they’re weird, but then actually get put off by truly strange things. That in itself might put you off from getting to know me, but if you’re the type who isn’t capable of accepting weird, this will save us both time.
I want to be with a woman who can understand my oddities and why I am the way I am. I’m not looking for a cheap fling, but for someone worthy of committing my time to. I treat honesty and loyalty like neurotic habits. They are obsessive compulsions to me. I’ve only ever lied to protect someone’s personal secrets, so if you ask me a question, expect the starkest truths. I don’t sugarcoat things. I’ve seen people do that enough times and ruin relationships as a result.
I enjoy watching anime, shows and movies with my friends. We sometimes play Magic: The Gathering and games like Smash Bros, Smite and Overwatch. I love monsters and myths. My favorite creatures will forever be the Greek couple Typhon and Echidna.
I’m not too picky about looks. My only requirement is that you value yourself enough to live a healthy strong life. If you’re physically strong and know how to fight, that’s a plus. I don’t care how tall you are (though I do like the idea of being with an absurdly tall woman…frost giantess tall). I’m 5’9” by the way.
I am picky about the following life choices.
I love insects. My biggest pet peeve is someone who abuses any form of life whether it is a bug, plant or animal. If you’re afraid of insects, give me a chance to bring them away from you. Don’t mindlessly kill them.
I do want kids someday so if you’re set on never having genetic offspring, we shouldn’t pursue each other.
I’m not interested in anyone who smokes or does any kind of drugs.
I don’t want to date a bigot. (Unless you’re an equal-opportunist hater and despise all humans equally. Heh. I have an unnatural affection for misanthropes.)
Even though I’d prefer to date someone who is agnostic like me, I’m not opposed to being with someone who has a religion unless you are: a zealot-type who will try to pressure me to join your religion, a tyrannical-type who will threaten to break up with me unless I join your faith, a guilt-trip-type who will insinuate that we should break up since we won’t be in the same heaven, or an indoctrination-type who looks down on my preferences because they don’t adhere to your beliefs. My two closest friends are Born-Again Christians by the way, so it’s not like I have poor outlook on all religious people. Only on those four types.
