Well i was just bored and searching for a place where otakus like myself could chat and hangout . Since its summer ive been bored and i have a bit of social anxiety and am very shy so i dont have many friends to hang out withso i dont go out much so i thought i would come on here to make some new friends. I fully understand that. Most people kind of think its a weird hobby or something dirty. If you go on otaku usa's website you'll see an article how some newstation tried to pass of manga as child porn or something like that -_- I'm a little self conscious myself about letting people I don't know about my interest in anime but not as much as Iw was although there are still some of my anime shirts I'm a little hesitant like my cute cat girl shirt I got from Sakura con lol but pretty much any other anime shirt I have I don't have a problem wearing out wherever. I know there's not really anything to be ashamed about but thankfully I'm not as self conscious about it as I was especially since I've gotten a compliment or even a conversation started surprisingly by wearing them out to random places.
