I enjoy Poetry myself, I felt your poem was quite sincere and from the heart.which is all a poet needs for a poem to be perfect. Here is one of my more recent works if you'd care to check it out ^_^. It's called a poem for someone like you. Not a star in the sky, could match your eyes How they pierce me with their gaze,sharper and deeper then any blade. The mark you have made, with those eyes will forever be etched into my soul,And where once all I had was emptiness, you went and filled the hole.I truly wish to tell you, of the feelings I hold within my heart, And with that I just might Have to,so this is where I'll start. In whispers as soft as your smile, for only you to hear, I'd tell you how I love you,and will always hold you dear. Like snow that never ceases to fall to the ground,my love will continue to grow.My heart will always beat for you, like a river will always flow.A raging sea,a frightning storm is the chaos within me but in your arms it is all nothing,how you calm it so easily. Not a moment passes, where I don't think of you,ever since I met you its been a dream come true.Sorrow and weakness is all Iv'e known for so long But now that I found you, I'm a bird whose found his song. Like a flower that blooms in the dead of winter,I never thought there could be someone like you,Who could teach me what love is,with your heart so pure and true.They tried to tell me there is no such thing as Love at first sight,But I can't even close my eyes without you running through my mind.I know Iv'e said this before, and I know you think it's absurd,But girl you are beautiful, in every aspect of the word.
