ZeXal is good in it's own ways. But if you didn't like GX, you will DESPISE ZeXaL. It's good, but don't go into it expecting a dark story, deep plot and hardcore action like DM or 5D's.

I actually am very happy with the way ZeXaL has turned out. The first season was a drag, but once I learned it was only a prologue I was rather pleased. I watched the first episode of ZeXaL 2 and it looks like we've got some legitimate villains this time around. I hope it turns out well.
