I agree entirely with yudodat. I got into a long term relationship when I was 16 and it went on between us until I was 21, but I was unhappy for a good portion of that time. After being used to having someone around for so long it was hard getting used to being single. I got out of my most recent relationship over a year ago now and have just been taking time to work on me and my interests/hobbies. Once you find that passion in your own life, that thing that sustains you and makes you happy regardless of what others think, someone will come along to share that with you. A good relationship is a give and take and a shared life, but you have to be sure that you have something to share, something to bring to the table (as the saying goes). Sometimes it's confidence issues and those are difficult to work with, but you'll find that if you find your passion in life and do what makes you happy, confidence can follow soon after. Confidence that you are enough to make you happy. If you can't make yourself happy it can get very emotionally taxing on your future partner and that could lead you down a road you don't want to walk. Feel free to message me personally if you want to talk some more, I have plenty of experience to offer! Hang in there, love happens when you least expect it.

Hello everyone! Shortly after Anime Boston this year I started up a Facebook group with the intent of running meet ups and other events between conventions. We are currently 84 members strong and I am looking to expand nation wide when we are able. We have some pretty interesting things in the works. Currently, most of our members are in the MA or NH area with a few scattered out to FL and OR. Always looking for more members so please do come check us out! We have big plans for the future! https://www.facebook.com/groups/NorthAmericanAnimeAlliance/
