@gabriel_true No I think I get it and I neither want a new car nor can I afford one anyways, would cost me more than replacing the motor. This little Kia Rio was paid for out of the kindness of my Grandparents heart (God Bless my Grandpa's soul). Also 2 things: 1. @wei_ying when you called me by Pie-Chan, I read it as Pie like in Apple Pie XD 2. I got 2000 miles left and calculated the miles, my mom is willing to drive me to the courthouse in order to save on miles. also, it would be funny if someone decided to steal it for tiktok clout only to have the motor konk out on them and they can't go anywhere. Would that constitute as getting my replacement car covered under insurance if this actually happened?

Gabriel @gabriel_true 1. If you have full coverage insurance you can total out the Kelly Blue Book value on your car for a down payment towards another. 2. I see the problem with your engine. It's a Kia. That's worse than my shitty Nissan, haha. Maybe a step up from a Chrysler. Still one of the worst brands to purchase. 3. Good luck!

@wei_ying there maybe some hope. I won't go into the details too much, but it is something My mechanic suggested.

Gabriel @gabriel_true Cool part about dropping a new motor in is technically you're driving a brand new vehicle. You'll even get to legally reset the milage gauge to zero once it's done. My brother did that for his truck seeing as the average used one runs for $30,000-40,000.

Oh no my dear @gabriel_true you do not understand try having not enough cash in the bank because you have 4 student loans (2 I can't refinance until February), paying back my mother after she had to cover me for a month because I suddenly quit my previous job (thankfully found another one very quickly, but NONE OF THEM ARE CLOSE TO BEING IN YOUR FIELD) and on top of that paying off the rest of last ACEN because of me miscalculating budget. and yes I have been paying those bills in a timely manner.

Gabriel @gabriel_true I've paid my loans off a long time ago. I have a house to manage and make repairs to. Property taxes to pay. Insurances to cover and so on and so forth. Money is something we all deal with, so I am speaking wisdom when I say in the event your motor fails it's best to fix what you have rather than search for another in this current market.

@wei_ying my engine is buring through more oil than it normally should (I know it is a 2014 model so that is old in car years). Normally every 1000 miles 1 qt is being burned, but it is actually burning through 3 quarts of oil. He said if I go over 120,000 it is game over.
