Hmm... it's hard to write this without spilling into the other sections. Ah well! My name is David and I'm a 20 year old, first year student who recently moved to Ottawa. I live in a house of eight people, and I work part-time on the side as well as going to my classes.

I have a pretty weird sense of humor, I'd have to admit. It's fairly hit-or-miss, but people seem to get used to it! ...that or they just pretend to make me feel good about myself.

In my spare time I spend a lot of time writing or playing games or hanging out with my friends. It really depends on what's going on!

Like I said, I'm a student at the moment, and this is my first year of university. I'm a Geography student, and I'm looking at a career in demographics and possibly surveying. As well as school, I also work part-time to pay for my schooling since I have no outside help.

I came out of a relationship in December that lasted almost two years, so you could say I'm a little out of touch in regards to dating, but I am completely willing to try if the opportunity does indeed arise.

Honestly, I don't have any real talents. I'm not good at sports (although I do like to play), and while I'm good at school I tend to fall behind every so often when I have a lot on the go.

My friends say that I have a really kind and patient personality, and I do make friends rather easily. I'm the kind of person that likes to listen to others talk, and likes to help people with their problems. So, I guess if I were to have any redeeming traits, those would be them?

The first thing people probably notice about me is that I can probably seem pretty quiet. Regardless of who it is, when I'm first meeting someone new I'm usually a lot more quiet than I am normally. It doesn't take long for me to warm up to people and get talking, however, so I apologize in advance if it seems like I'm super quiet. I'm not!

Obviously, I like anime if I'm using this site. I've been an anime and manga fan since I was 13, and there are very few genres I won't watch. Every anime is a new adventure, really, though I do have a soft spot for mecha and shounen. Shoujo is great too, however, and I like pretty much everything.
