You might find meditation helpful, clinical studies suggest it can be useful in dealing with anxiety. You could start by looking up "Jon Kabat-Zinn" on google or Amazon, or check out get some headspace. Good luck!

Hey Kittie,
I really liked Acchi Kocchi from last season. It's comedy/romance and, IMHO does both extremely well. The one (possible) downside is that it's based on a yonkoma, so there isn't a lot of overall progression though the series. You'll probably be able to tell whether or not you'll like it from the first episode.
I also liked Inu X Boku. The setup and mood reminded me a bit of "Fruits Basket". I liked both the comedy and romance in this one too, but there's also some psychological depth to the characters that comes out in the latter episodes.
I see you already have Kimi ni Todoke in your anime list, so I won't bother suggesting it :). Though if you haven't seen the live-action adaptation yet I'd say it's worth it. They rush through two seasons of material really quickly, but for the most part the casting is pretty amazingly spot-on.
For pure comedy I usually get a few solid laughs from each episode of Shirokuma Cafe, though the humor is pretty dry and might not be your thing. Also, I thought the first few episodes were a little weak, but it picked up.
