Yup, things are going okay. I am having a great lazy week this week! However, I'll be stuck in the school library for entire 2 weeks to prepare for my final exam! Well...That is if I don't procrastinate. Oh, that is so cool! There are many dishes that I have not really heard of or tasted before! KARJALANPIIRAKKA MUNAVOILLA (CARELIAN PIE WITH EGG BUTTER) What can it go wrong with rye, potato/porridge, butter, and egg? It looks amazing! However, I am not really familiar with baking so I may just buy a bread from the market... :( LOHIKEITTO (SALMON SOUP) and HERNEKEITTO JA PANNUKAKKU (PEA SOUP AND PANCAKE) I love salmon, and pea soup was mentioned, I definitely want to try them! LIHAPIIRAKKA (MEAT PIE) The description sounds really good and really interested since I've never eaten a pie with meat in them! I got to practice my baking skill to try some of these dishes... Thanks for the recommendation MKraft! I'll try making them through recipes online~

Hi, hows your week so far? I hope you're doing well! I have a question: Is there a unique staple food around your region and what kind of food would you recommend for people who never been to Finland? It would be cool if I can try making one at home. In Canada, we have poutine and maple syrup! Poutine is potato fries with cheese curds and gravy on top. Finland sounds so nice as their living style seems like where I would love to live in. I found this video about Finland, and she seems to say the same thing, which is super cool! https://youtu.be/Pb4isfbh65M However, as an Asian, I am not so sure whether Finland would still welcome a foreigner despite people being friendly. Those anime are great, except I haven't seen Planetes yet. Ya, at the end of Made in Abyss with Nanachi arc got me into the series pretty hard. Nanachi and Mitty got me very emotional and got myself really attached to the series as well as their character. I want to see Nanachi again :)
