I'm kind of unsure about internet dating but I'm having a hard time finding someone my age group who is a cute female and likes anime.
It's been about 5 years since my last relationship, nothing serious since I was in eighth grade at the time.
I’d like to say I’m girly with a tomboy edge at times.
I’m roughly 5’7” and I’m going to say 170 pounds. Most of it in the right placed though, in my opinion.
Before I get into all my interests and stuff:
I’m looking for someone in general who can make me laugh. Totally don’t have to be sensitive openly, but can kind of get when I’m not in the mood to laugh and still be there for me during hard times as I would be there for them. Someone smart but won’t mind when I do have my - what I like to call- dumb loser moments.
What I’m looking for in a girl who is masculine but not butch. Unisex is probably a more accurate description. I defiantly believe that humans have the power to make gender an illusion. Sometimes a very beautiful illusion.
I’m basically looking for the Kelly to my Jen. If you get that reference, you do have your foot in the door.
I’m not even sure if a person like that would also like anime, but here’s hoping.

As for anime in general I do tend to like girlie stuff (Otomen, Ouran HSHC) . But I also like more dark stuff, Godchild is a good example.
My favorite anime/manga, the short list, is:

Fruits Basket
The newest to the list is Axis Powers Hetalia
I’ve seen a lot of stuff so I forget I read them all the time. But I’ve also missed out on a lot, so please feel free to suggest stuff or ask if I’ve read or seen curtain things.
As for me as a part of the anime community:
- I am registered on the Risembol Ranger website. But I’m hardly on there.
- I’m no way a fan girl, I really do like the building of a character in a series and plot. I enjoy talking about characters as they are as people, I rarely base a favorite in the series solely on their looks.
- I will be cosplay for the first time this year at Anime Vegas 2010. I’ve always respected cosplay, but didn’t have the means to do it until now. On you tube, I subscribe to JentheJinx which is basically Parle Productions and TheNinjaIchigos, but I watch other cosplay videos if they interest me.
- I write some fan fiction but so far it’s only been for Hetalia. I’m only comfortable with that because there is no plot to the story and I still love the anime. I don’t go for pairings that mess with the plot of a series and I don’t like it when if a character’s male he’s automatically gay. Obviously I’m not a homophobe, but don’t like fan girls who are persistent about that stuff. I rp, but only with this person I’ve known for years. I’m actually hoping to come into my own as a writer.
- I can’t draw, but I love fan art when done correctly.
Well, outside of the anime world…
I do indulge in video games when given the chance. I’m a fan of Silent Hill, Kingdom Hearts, Portal, Left 4 Dead, Mario in all the different games, Sly Cooper, and Little Big Planet.
I don’t consider myself a gamer, but I just like playing video games.
I like cooking an sewing, usually trying new things. My favorite kinds of food are Japanese and Italian. I have a sewing machine and I’m known for trying the alter my clothes for I will actually wear them.
I enjoy reading, just all kinds of books. But unlike the manga I usually go for, I don’t like the girly books or any of the recent takes on vampires or the supernatural. I like books that make me think, I was top in my Modern Lit class.
My two favorite books are Secret Garden and The Stranger.
I’m not religious, but I respect all religion.
I’m a fan of Sex and the City, the Big Bang Theory, Scrubs (the older episodes), Little Britan, The L Word, South Park, The Simpsons, Penn & Teller’s Bullshit, Boston Legal, Twilight Zone, etc.
I’m a huge fan of horror films, but not exactly loving all the remakes. My favorite actor of all time is Vincent Price.
Favorite movies of all time: Clue, Clueless, Mean Girls, 28 Days, the House on Haunted Hill, Secret Window, Edgar Allan Poe’s Tales of Terror, Nightmare on Elmstreet, the SAW movies, Repo! The Genetic Opera, and Finding Neverland.
I have a weakness for cartoons, mostly older ones that are harder to find. Some just don’t have the substance as the older ones. The Weekenders, the Looney Toons, Invader Zim, and the Angery Beavers just to name a few.
I’m not sure what else to put on here, but I guess that’s enough about me for one night.
