I've always liked anime and manga, but growing up in a poor black neighborhood left me feeling like an outsider. I only had my cousin who shared the same likes. So now that I'm an adult I'm not afraid to be who I am and like what I like.I just recently went to my first con in my home town and i felt so accepted. Even my family who always teased me accepted me and it felt so good. I want to always feel that way. I'm just looking for people who share that shall love and defiance!
