Hi, thanks for stopping by the science and philosophy thread. What kind of ethics do you usually have conversations about?

What's the ideal reason to pull phone records from an area and why would they do that? Not that it doesnt help the situation, but whats the major basis behind it?

Near-distant? Likely and not-likely. If we look at our world today, we can't even ALONE not depend on this sort of technology to get us through, which honestly scares and amazes me at the same time. As far as I'm concerned, every elementary and high-school throughout the US is making their students take a computer-based class. So there on one standpoint, has our world has already been turned towards more of a dystopian society. I'd like to point out one very interesting fact here, even though its a bit off-topic. It's the divorce rate in this country. The divorce-rate now is over 50%. (I almost thought I heard its more like 70%, but I'm not so sure I would even believe that.) Do you know why the reason our divorce rate is so high in this country? Its because of the mass amount of information thats being passed through our channels everyday. We have already superceeded the information age and look at whats its done to us. Its absolutely turned us one-step closer to not trusting eachother. Honestly right there is a CLEAR sign of a development for any dystopian community.

So let me ask you this then, is what you're essentially asking, do I personally believe our world, our country or any other society for that matter will subject to such a fate in the mere future if we or should I say 'they' continue to go down this path?
