Lamby @momoichi ikr? so stupid. i hate how people are painting rose to be this big monster now. guess what? DIAMONDS ARE SELFISH, THEY WERE BORN THAT WAY! its not her fault! she TRIED to do good the only way she knew how! i dare say thats worth applause!

MidastheAlchemist @jtibbs I mean, when you consider everything the other gems went through because of it she was a pretty horrible person. She started a war for what we think is her own selfish reasons.

Lamby @momoichi the thing is, SU was created on the bases of no real bad guys and no real good guys. she was a mix. she tried to do good and it ended bad. she cant be fully blamed, shes a diamond. thats like asking a pearl to fight like a quartz. gems are created in specific ways and for specific purposes. what she did was nobel, but what transpired was sad. she couldnt plan for that. she was young, ambitious, unlike any diamonds.

Lamby @momoichi without her garnet never would be, amethyst would be living with the off colors and treated as a dirty if not just shattered, pearl would be under the thumb of a gem (no way she was going to stay her pearl, clearly she was not made for a diamond) steven would never be alive and the earth would have been destroyed. plus pink cried when she saw her sister. she's sorry.

MidastheAlchemist @jtibbs Very true, it's going to be interesting to see how the others come to terms with this new information and how the story evloves from here.

Lamby @momoichi PLUS theres no way thats the last we will be seeing of pink diamond. im 100% sure they will flesh her out more, show what pushed her and made her go behind her sisters backs like that. she held clear animosity towards them and itll be great seeing why.

MidastheAlchemist @jtibbs I think a lot of people are disappointed and feel like the writers might have caved to some of the fan theories.

Lamby @momoichi its strange why sapphire freaks out like she does, but theres a theory floating around that when rose meets garnet and tells her "dont ever question this" It might have been a spell like with pearl so her future vision cant see it. BUT that IS a long shot. idk why else she would freak out that like though, but i guess itll give more character development ti rose. i think roses biggest flaw was she seeming lack of remorse. having fun on earth even after what happened. but maybe we'll get to see that she really WASNT all that happy, and she did feel like shit about it. but who knows
