Oh, nice! You hadn't actually told me that. I'm entirely self taught, but I have anti-static gear too. You gotta be careful about static. I actually majored in game development myself, and now I work in software consulting (we basically build specialized software for clients as opposed to commercial software). That's really cool though! You don't see girls that are into that sort of stuff all that often. I find that being told those things by family doesn't mean a whole lot to me. It's like, they're family, if they didn't say those things then they probably wouldn't be a good family at all. But with friends, I feel like I had to earn any positivity and good will they're willing to offer me. But yeah, I get that way too. When I break down, there's really no reasoning with me. Eventually, all that negativity burns me out, and then the healing process can start. Honestly, I have a really tough time picking from the 8 evolutions. As far as my favorite one to use in battles, it's probably my Umbreon because of how much and how frequently people underestimate him. I've had him get me victory in bad 3v1 situations against ubers and legendaries before.

Vlad (ブラド) @vladthe5th Indeed. :3 We first met at Steel City Con back either in 2013 or 2014. I got to talking with him about his relationship with Clive Barker, and our passion for the occult. We hit it off well since then. When I started my first retail job back in 2014, I noticed him driving around in the shopping plaza where I went on my break, and he came to visit me almost any given time necessary whenever I was working. Funny enough, I also found out his girlfriend was a long time friend of mine that lived near my neighborhood. Absolutely a great guy to talk to.
