I was first introduced to it through the anime and only a few years ago found out about the manga. Sadly I only read a few volumes so far in the manga but even sadder to realize that it was never fully finished well at least in the English translation if nothing else :( I really liked Risa in the beginning but the further on in the series the more I started to dislike her. I really think that they tried to make her a dislikeable character the further it went on. In the end I really liked her sister Riku much better ^^
