As a very wise man once said, "Inside every cynical person, there is a disappointed idealist". If you know well both who this quote is attributed to and understand all too well it's meaning, we'll probably get along splendidly.
I'm what you would most likely classify as a geek. I enjoy comic books and movies, anime and manga, mythology and monsters, video games and pro-wrestling. I don't understand real sports outside of MMA and know little to nothing about cars or hunting. I enjoy the outsides, nature and wildlife but I'm just as happy indoor with a good book, an intriguing discussion, television series or business plan. I don't go out too often socially and rarely drink anymore but I enjoy dining out, theaters both live and cinema, museums, zoos and events. I love music but no specific genre, just anything that makes me feel something- my Pandora shuffle looks like the dreams of a madman. I tend to read books and watch movies that few people have ever heard of and never read or watch the books and movies that are suppose to be commonplace affair.
I enjoy traveling and working towards self betterment. I create a lot of projects for myself to keep myself always busy and always improving whenever I can. I have a long list of places I'd like to go and things I'd like to do and will continue to strive to see just how many of them I can check off. Just a few of those include attending conventions like SDCC, SakuraCon, MAGfest, PAX, and traveling abroad.
