Aside from the 4Kids dub I've seen years ago, I've never seen Tokyo Mew Mew. I have a bad habit of putting off long shows. The manga has been on my radar for a while (especially now that there are omnibus volumes out), so I might just go to that. XD

I know. I hate the open ending so much. It's so depressing when the do that cause it feels unfinished.Ive only known a scant few that ended well. magical girl can be cute. I liked tokyo mew mew but mostly for the ears and tail i think. the the romance difficulties were nice.

Oh wow. I'm glad to know that the anime doesn't have the usual "read the manga" ending. That makes me a lot more interested now. :D Shugo Chara is legally streaming for free on Crunchyroll. If you're into magical girl anime, you could dig it more. I have a feeling you'll like a certain male character in that show too. XD

its never seen Shugo Chara. I'll have to find some episodes. I love her reactions too. Even tho she finds it hard to say what she really means her reactions say so much more. Especially the last episode. The ending was so good and it actually closes the story instead of the usual open ending.

I saw a few eps of the anime and loved it. ^_^ (I do plan on watching more when I have the time.) Her reactions everytime Soushi serves her like a dog are hilarious and and really cute. XD She kinda reminds me of Amu (Shugo Chara) in a lot of ways. Actually, my favorite tsunderes have always been Kagami (Lucky Star) and Makoto (Kanon).

Yes! If you like the tsundere moe try Inu x Boku SS! she even has a glasses moment and her bodyguard is a ninetailed white demon fox. IN the end when she freaks out.... too much!

I agree with your words. If the world they built is not held together it creates a tear and I can't look away. Having a good mix of manga and novels can be hard. I usually leave manga for work and novels for home. Ive heard of S M Stirling but never Turtledove. Have you ever tried Mercedes Lackey, L. E. Modesitt Jr., or Sharon Shin? I like the Harry Pooter stories, it was so well built and enthrawing. They actually didnt do bad on the movies but I hate that they always have to leave so much out. Especially with the Lord of the Rings. The books had so much more in them. I cnt understand why others think theres is to much in the books.

I really appreciate good worldbuilding. I tend to find myself analyzing the worlds and languages and such in books to see if they're internally consistent and such. I'm afraid that since getting back into anime my book reading has dropped quite a bit--instead, most of my reading has been fanfic or manga in one form or another. But that aside, it depends on the point in my life. Most of what I enjoy tends to be some flavor of sci-fi or fantasy. About five years ago I caught the alt-history bug and really got into novels in that genre, particularly stuff by S.M. Stirling and Harry Turtledove. The thing I started reading most recently is this epic Harry Potter fanfic (which is not my usual fandom and hasn't been for many years), but I also need to finish reading some of the side stories in the Sword Art Online light novel translations and catch up on Alicization.

I love a new fantasy world. I dont mind if the same type of characters are used as long as the plot is interesting and there r twists. sci fi can be interesting, shape shifters/ were animals now n then, romance spotted thru and a good phyco killer every blue moon. At the moment im following michelle sagara's one series. very exciting world that is original
