Got it. XD My work is cut out for me. Now to see if I can get these all watched before Oni-Con. Okay, measures in music are sort of like sentences in paragraphs. If you listen to, say, waltz or polka music, you should notice a difference between that and jig or reel music. The difference is that waltzes are based off of a 3/4 measure, or 1-2-3-1-2-3, whereas reels and jigs are based off of 4/4 measure, or 1-2-3-4-1-2-3-4. You only need to know that if you're learning ballroom, though. If you're talking just run-of-the-mill make-it-up-as-you-go dancing, it's just a matter of being able to notice the beat and know how to work around it.

I'll be sure to check out Kaiji too then. What's that, three anime now that I have to watch? LOL... I'm the shortest one in my family, haha, except for my youngest brother, who's 13. My little sister's sixteen and already several inches taller than I am. I'd be happy to teach you. How good are you at recognizing beats and measures in music? That's an important part of being able to dance.

Huh then I think the kaji live action cover most of the anime. But you should still watch the anime , nothing lime seeing in orginal. Haha I lied, I'm 5"6-8ish. I would love it if you taught me how to dance honestly.

No, E-Card is the king/slave card game. Not sure about the dice game. I think the balance beam would freak anybody out. Wow, you're tall! I'm 5'2" or something like that. Really kind of short.

I'll take a look! There were two Kaiji movies, one about the E-Card game, the Jan Ken Pon game, and the electrified balance beam. In the second one, Kaiji takes on the pachinko parlor with his opponent from the first movie and the daughter of the guy he met on the Espoir. Dancing is easy. You just have to get motivated and stop worrying about how crappy your skills might be (depending on the style; for example, Scottish Country Dance is extremely rigid when it comes to posture and stance). I could teach you, if you lived more locally.

I liked the psychological/philosophical aspect of Deathnote, as well as of the Kaiji live action. I loved the directing and the writing; they carried that tension across really well from the manga/anime then! I have been to a couple of raves/electronic dances, and I enjoyed them to a point. The flashing of the lights got really distracting though (OCD). All-in-all, I don't do club dancing per se. I combine what I've learned from Bollywood, KPop/JPop, and Israeli/Scottish folk dancing and just sort of do my own thing. Dancing is not for girls. XP You should learn how to dance! At least learn a little Ballroom. Dancing is fun, LOL.

Genre as in the genre of anime. I loved the Kaiji live action! Never watched the anime, but the live action was very funny and creative. I'll have to look into the original material sometime. I can dance pretty well... I used to be better, but with school and all, I've fallen somewhat out of practice. I'm going to try relearning the more complicated stuff (like Scottish Country Dancing and Ballroom) so I can attend the upcoming Scottish Ball in town and the Masquerade Ball at San Japan. Otherwise, Bollywood movies and KPop MVs are what keeps me as in practice as I am, haha.
