Ah yes, if you can relate to the character then it makes the anime more fun to watch :). Well, I actually think Kishimoto dragged Naruto on a bit too long lol. Have heard of the other two but haven't watch them yet :]

So true, lol I actually like for an action style anime, they actually have a detailed story line and background with actual wins and losses and even draws. I also like where they do bring some characters back. But it's not like Bleach for example ( I do like Bleach but still) Ichigo fight an opponent, he loses okay so what. He fights them again, loses again. Fights them again possibly a draw. Fights them again and wins XD and he magically gets stronger. I hate that aspect of it so bad. At least Naruto and One Piece actually show them either training or getting better in battle instead of just sucking and magically winning and not really having any story to it or randomly cutting it off.
