Honaki Star Rail I've got a lot of gems by playing haha. It's a good f2p game you get 80 pulls when you start playing and Princess Peach ShowTime.

I don't think I do. xD There is so much to learn and practice, before I would ever consider having the fundamentals down. I think a good checkmark point is once I am able to draw anything from imagination and bring it down to paper AS I imagine it. And that's certainly still a long way to go. But practicing these things step by step is really fun! There is enough spaces for artists that aren't as brutal. It really only gets this brutal on top level, when you aim for Anime and AAA game production, which a lot of artists strife for. Makes sense, since once you have that under your belt and in your portfolio, it opens pretty much all doors. Anything indie should have much healthier environments. Not trying to talk you out of it tho; if you got what it takes, go get it! Anyway, I've been practicing heads the last couple days. Here is a Yelan drawing I am working on.

Starting an animation studio sounds like an enormous financial investment. if that's what you wanna do, I won't tell you off. But seems like a potentially huge weight to shoulder. ^^ What's the motivation behind it? :) I haven't drawn a lot of characters yet. I am trying to build my fundamentals to a point where I can push out a drawing in a single day. But I am planning on drawing a ton of Yoko from TTGL, Asuna from Blue Archive and Wriothesley from Genshin Impact. And I wanna get my own character ideas on paper too eventually. ^^ I did however draw Toki from Blue Archive in Forbidden404's style and I drew Aubrey from Omori.

Yas. I believe you'll be great at it. I'm in that boat of people that really believes anyone can be an artist with enough practice. If you ever want to collab or need help, I'm here. I wondered someday about starting my own manga/animation studio but that's probably thinking too big. What subject has been your favorite to draw so far? Any muses?

yuuzora @yuuzora Uwa, I can tell you really understand the fundamentals. It's so neat seeing an artist grow. ;u; My old job was managerial and logistics for a construction company, so the work load isn't anything I wouldn't be used to. I have only thought about it. So many artists are struggling and work culture is so toxic especially in Japan and Korea. I'd want to start one correctly to give young artists a chance to really grow in the industry while not working them to death. I think. But you're right I don't think anyone I know has that sort of resources to really try for it. But it would be nice to someday if I can make this all work somehow.

I would love to eventually work as an illustrator. Be that in animation or game production. With drawing, I never really tried before, thinking I lack the talent to ever become good at it. Watching friends start from nothing and improving motivated me to give it a shot tho. Aswell as from experience that talent is such a small factor when it comes to becoming REALLY good at something. What is way more important is putting the work into improving and understanding how to improve. Feeling the progress from just these few weeks already tho, makes me feel pretty confident I am heading in the right direction and I will be able to work as an illustrator eventually, granted I stick to practicing. :p

Thank you! :D I started out with Clip Studio Pro, but I got a monthly sub for the Ex version, since the Pro version is limited to 24frames.
