All good man, it’s just that you can’t go off not expecting criticism about this since the manner that this was done this way. That being said, if it is true, which to me at least is questionable, I wish you and his family the best :)

That’s all fine, but it seems like there are some glaring flaws in your approach. If you really wanted to try and let people know without the disrespect, you could have just dmed the respective people on his friends list which could have stopped random people from seeing and commenting on this very personal moment. But by doing it in this method, it comes off as throwing shade towards certain parties and asking for sympathy.
