Yah I know what you mean, but if your in college you could probally find a anime club or something maybe ? I did that, but unfortunately the ppl there were a bit...bleh. lol, personally I read them online too, but If i really like the manga I buy it :P,

wow, still very impressive. I used to have a lot but a friend of mine moved, and where she moved they had no manga or anime and stuff ( so being the awesometastic me lol :3, I sent her my collection) So now im collecting again, and don't feel bad everyone has those horrendous money issues ^^

Gantz has to be one of my favorites... and easily one of the most intense and touching mangas I've ever read. Berserk is very similar, and just as macabre. Both push the limits on what we can fathom of human emotion. They capture lust, desperation, and loneliness too well. You ever check out Grand Teacher Onizuka? Now there's a man I aspire to grow up to be XD
