I'm pretty sure the art change only happens in the animation. It's a huge process that has to go through tons of people, so sometimes, consistency might have gotten overlooked. It's a very subtle change though, so maybe I'm just being really picky with it =P Haha and yeah, Black Bird is definitely not the manga I'm was think about. I'm going to have to try and look up what I saw now. Don't you normally have a group of friends that you go to conventions with? Maybe you guys can all pitch in a rent out a hotel room for the weekend. As for picking out who you want to cosplay, I think the easiest way is to see which character's personality you like the best. Then you look at their outfit and see if it is something you can pull off and are comfortable wearing. If that doesn't work then the next best thing is to just randomly look at images until a certain outfit pops out at you. XD

Hmmm yeah, good question. Can I add you as a friend on here? If we are friends, you can see my email address in my info, and then you can email me your works. Or if you have images of them posted somewhere else like facebook or deviant art, you can PM me your info/link and I can check them out that way too =) That's really cool though that you do commission works. How long does it normally take for you to make a replica of a photo? I don't really do art anymore. I haven't drawn anything since I stop being an art major years ago. I prefered using graphite and color pencils when I was still drawing. Charcoal was okay, but I get way too messy with it, and it ends up getting every where. Oil pastels and paints were fun too, but I liked graphite and color pencils better because I can control those mediums easier. I work really precise >_< I can try and send you some photos of my old works, but I'm going to have to dig them up first lol Now a day though, my art works are my cosplays. I can't really sew, but I'm good at making props, lol but I'm terrible at remembering to take progress pictures >_< I do a little bit of everything from weapons, armor, to accessories, and some wig cutting and styling as well. I have a folder of most of my works posted on facebook. If you have a facebook account, I can show them to you. There are a couple of guys that sell home made prop weapons in the artist alley at my local cons. They really like the works that I do so they offered me a spot at their table if I want to join in! ^_^

Yeah I totally agree. Fruit Basket was not a very good anime. I think it was cute to a certain point, but like I said earlier, it's not an anime that I would re-watch. And yeah, it really got filtered down compared to the manga. I don't know if yuri is really mainly written for guys. Out of the 3 forms of adult materials (regular, yaoi, and yuri), yuri is definitely the less popular choice. Most girls go for the yaoi stuff and most guys go for the regular hentai stuff. All the guys I know (myself included), would choose regular hentai over yuri if given the choice. I think yuri is directed toward both guys and girls in general, it just usually gets mix up in along with the regular stuff, since it's not popular enough to have its own section most of the time. For me personally, I just really love the arts. So regardless of which category it might falls into, if I like the artist or a certain art style, I will still look into it. ^_^ The art style changes I was referring to with The Wallfowers anime meant it goes from full lips and sharp outlines to being softer lines and more toned down colors. It's a rather subtle change that happens semi regularly that I picked up on. It throws me off because I can be kind of picky with arts >_< Hmmm I must be thinking of a series that's not Black Bird then. I just remember it was an action flick which starts with Black, with the second word being an animal. lol and no it's not Black Cat =P oh that's going to bug me now that I don't remember. =/ So is Anime Milwaukee the only anime convention in Wisconsin? Are you going to do another specific character cosplay the next time you go, now that you have an Alice cosplay?

My first manga series was Doraemon. That came out over 20 years ago and the writer for that manga series has passed away =( I still have all the manga of it. Some of them are pretty beat up from how much I read it ^_^ Fruit Basket was a cute series, but it's not one I would watch again. I liked the ox Hatsuharu. He was fun and the ox is also my animal sign. The one that cracks me up the most in the series was the snake Ayame XD Who do you like in that series? So Yuri disturbs you, but you are okay with Yaoi? 0_0 haha I'm kidding =P I have seen both Code Geass and The Wallflower (the switching between art styles in the anime threw me off a bit with this one). I want to try and read Black Bird some time since it looks pretty cool. I don't have an excel spread sheet for what I have seen or read, but I try to keep ones for my art books and video games. If you have read over 600 manga titles, then I have played over 600 video games titles. XD lol although, I did not complete all 600 of them ... yet >_< So do you normally go to anime Conventions? Do you cosplay when you go?

So you just like books and reading in general then I take it? That's cool. Unfortunately I don't like reading anything else but graphic novels or comics. =/ Despite how good a book might be, I get distracted and have a hard time getting through it if I don't have images to help focus my attention. >_< I haven't seen Baccano yet. I might have to check it out since I have heard good things about it =) So what are some of your other favorite series outside of Baccano and Darker than Black? What are your favorite or preferred genres? I share personality with Shikamaru, but my favorite character in Naruto is Neji. I grew up watching a lot of Chinese martial art movies, and the concept of using chakra with pinpoint accuracy to enhance or disrupt another person's chakra flow is something I'm fascinated by, and Neji does just that =)

I actually watch more anime than I read manga. I usually only read the manga if it goes further than the anime. I do own a few manga series, and that's because I really love the artist! XD Otherwise, I just read them online. Same thing goes for anime as well, I have a pretty big collection of them, but they are mostly older series. I am working on trying to get back into buying them, but of course money is the issue. >_< I mainly use my money to buy and collect video games and art books. Those I have a ton of. XD I cannot imagine ever being able to donate any of my stuff away. I'm not a pack rat or anything, but I do love them a lot, and I don't think I can ever part with them. What series do you collect? I did watch Darker than Black. It was pretty good. I cosplayed Hei from the series, but I don't have any good pictures of it to post =/ Have you read or watched the second season too? I haven't, but I'm planning on it =) I cannot stand the old Naruto series. The characters were just so annoying, and there were so much fillers. I really like Shippuden though. Characters and story wise are so much better. Who's your favorite character in the series?

Hi! How are ya? I was curious if you physically own all the manga titles that you have read (Over 600 is A LOT! XD)I have a friend who loves manga just like you do, but she absolutely HAVE to own the manga because she hates reading it online. She owns so many manga she ran out of space for them on her shelves, so she has to start stacking them on the floor and build a wall out of them. So I was curious if you do the same? =) Also, do you find it difficult to watch the anime of a series once you have read its manga, or vice versa? I seem to have some difficulties following the story of a series if I have already read or watched its counter part, unless it's a series that I just absolutely love.
