Panda was in the air force and pretty smart since he went for networking as a career, he had ways to meet someone across the whole world. Arc and Veru both lived nearby in Georgia from what I remember. I don't know the story behind jilli and her husband but I think majority of the success comes from luck and being successful enough for a online relationship to become a real one.
