Whats the BEST part of breaking up.

If it's a relationship gone sour then its basically what Lamby said - otherwise there really isn't much of a benefit that I can think of. Like if I got dumped by someone I love the crap out of then I really don't see a benefit to that whatsoever. I think it's because I hate being single although I guess having a little bit of time purely to myself is quite nice and peaceful but when I'm single for months on end, it's dull and it sucks and I hate it. Rawr I'm pouty and annoyed.

Being in a relationship is great and all, but here are my favorite things about being single: Having more time to yourself to do what you want More time with your bros Not having to spend money on someone else (assuming you don't have a kid or someone that depends on you) Not having to listen to someone talk on and on Having a bed to yourself (feels good, man) Not having to worry about someone cheating on you Checking out other girls/guys without someone getting jealous or angry

Best part would be the end of anxiety,lies, jealousy, insecurities and constant disappointments. I have high standards.I am doomed to be alone but that's fine. I rather be one of those people who actually has standards for a serious relationship in this world full of "just physical". well that's just me.

It would really depend on the quality of the relationship and who ended it. If it was a bad one, the benefit would be the relief of not having to deal with it any longer and maybe the realization you understood why it was bad and needed to end it so you can have better realtionships in the future. If it was generally a good realtionship, but you were the one who ended up being dumped, the best thing you can do is try to understand why it ended and maybe use it as a self improvement opportunity. If you were the one doing the dumping, hopefully it meant you found someone you felt you could better click with.
