I think there has been a thread like this asking a similar question before? But yeah to answer your question, relationships has indeed happened on here in the past from what I know, but it's pretty rare that it actually happens from what I understand. This community is mostly for shitposting, memes, discussing about nerdy topics or random stuff, and making friends. I've only been here since about last summer or so but that's basically what I've observed thus far.

I'll give this a try. Back in college I joined a martial arts club. The first day I went they were practicing shoulder throws, I'd already done 2 years of chinese kung fu, and had been practicing on and off with aikido jujitsu so I was okay with jumping right in. The teacher paired me up with this really cute girl which I was nervous about because, if you've ever done any kind of judo/jujitsu you know it take you raming you ass into your opponent waist in the easiest explanation, and I didn't want to come off as a creep to her (which turned into an hour of me desperately trying not to pop a boner as she pushed her butt into my crotch). After an hour of practice and me fumbling through a conversation with my meager communication skill, I decided I was gonna wait 2 or 3 more classes and then ask her to hang out. As I'm leaving the class there's a guy waiting there. He said he'd been watching for about 20 min, waiting for the class to end so he and his g could go get food, pointing to the girl I'd been talking to. We stood there awkwardly for a second.
