Hey, I just made a profile not too long ago on this site and even put a few messages on a couple other forum topics. I hope that I could make at least a few good friends and possibly love? Who knows? Hope to hear from people.

I've always been wondering if single females do go to cons to find a significant other. It seems to me that most girls go to cons just as a hobbie. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that's bad. But take me for instance. I'm an otaku first and formost. (I freely admit it because I don't care). I do have other interests. It's just that clearing the otaku gamer hurdle always seems to be the most difficult that even females there don't want to find out the other stuff. Which is making it hard to find that special significant other at cons. Well with that aside, is anyone going to NDK Denver? If you'ld like to meat just let me know. Would like to have other friends other than my usual group to hang out, talk with, and maybe meet that special otaku girl. :-)

honestly Kane Anrui, you are the first person I have been able to get to 2nd post with on this topic, and as such I am poorly prepared to continue, I am a little surprised that no females have pitched in on this yet, the smug and arrogant part of me wanna go: "maybe they got hit in a sore spot with this topic?", while my inquisitive and paranoid part wanna say: " seems unfortunate that apparently even the supposedly free spirits found in the realm of otakuness are still caught in the mainstream web of manipulation of attitude to a degree that prevents them from even raising their own oppinion (should they have one) on the subject".

I've toyed around with RPGmaker VX cant remember which version it was but managed to create a megaman fanfic JRPG with a playtime of 7 hours, the project took me 4 months of daily effort of about 2-4 hours. 75% of this time was spent ripping and adjusting sprites from megaman 1-8, x1-x5, and battlenetwork 1-6. so graphics are definately not my strong suit, i cant do RUBY either, i used the program just like one would use the Starcraft map editor. then again im no programmer or even modder, I'm a balancer and QC'r so if you need help with Adjusting mechanics, difficulty and such, I'd be more than willing to lend a hand, I am already doing a bit of QC for another RPGM user.
